A 39 years old Nigerian man named Chika Okafor, a resident of 3/16 Oketa Street, Mende, Maryland, Lagos, who on the 17th o f October, 2018, raped a 15-year-old girl and shaved her pubic hair, has been reportedly arrested by the police.
According to report, the teenage girl had ran from home because her mum threatened to beat her for losing an important item, when the suspect got her into his car and took her to a beer parlour where he convinced her to take some alcohol.
But being her first time to indulge in such habit, the girl was completely knocked out after guzzling several bottles of alcoholic drinks and seeing the state of the girl, Okafor took her to a hotel at Oshodi, where he completely undressed her and after the girl told him to let her be because she was a virgin, he still went ahead to rape her and shaved her pubic hair that he went away with.
It was learnt that the following morning, Okafor took her to his friend’s place in Maryland where he raped her the second time after which he took her in his car and dropped her at the nearest location to her parents’ house.
But after the girl got home and narrated her ordeal to her mother, she immediately petitioned the Commissioner of Police Imohimi Edgal who ordered a manhunt against Okafor who was, eventually, arrested on November 24, by detectives attached to the Gender Unit of the Lagos State police Command and will be charged to family Court on Friday.
