Popular British journalist and TV personality currently working as a presenter on the ITV Breakfast programme Good Morning Britain, Piers Morgan insulted a Nigerian in pidgin English while they argued on the Nigeria Super Eagles match with Argentina on Twitter yesterday.
The argument started after Piers who didn't agree with the VAR when the machine gave Nigeria a penalty kick after Leon Balogun was fouled during the World Cup game said the VAR had failed and there was no way that was a penalty because it was the Nigerian player that leaned in and dived.
"VAR fails again. No way was that a penalty.. leaned in & dived." Piers tweeted.
While the Nigerian man, Emmanuel Babalola who felt the British Journalist was being biased called him a racist saying;
"If it is England or Argentina ?? the VAR is correct right? But now it's Nigeria ?? the VAR has failed. You are such a racist!"
And Piers replied him in pidgin English saying;
"Emmanuel, you dey craze."
