Woman finds mouse in her sandwich

A woman in Pennsylvania filed a lawsuit against Chick-fil-A claiming a tiny rodent was baked into the bun of her chicken sandwich.

Ellen Manfalouti said the incident happened when a coworker went to the fast food eatery on Lincoln Highway in Langhorne to buy them lunch.

Manfalouti told Philly.com when she bit down on her chicken sandwich she noticed something strange was on the bottom of her bun, but thought the bread had just been burnt.
I realized it was a small rodent of some sort," her coworker, Cara Phelan, said. "I could see the whiskers and the tail."

Manfalouti's lawyer, William Davis, said a laboratory test allegedly confirmed that the rodent was a small "rat/mouse."
Manfalouti is seeking more than $50,000 for psychological and physical injuries, Philly.com reports. The 46-year-old Bucks County resident said she had to be treated at the hospital for severe nausea and saw a psychologist for anxiety.

"I had anxiety and nightmares, which I still do" she told the outlet. "The first month was really rough."
